It can't be! But has Joe Jonas and galpal Demi Lovato called it quits? Pass the tissue please.

It's confirmed. According to UsMagazine , It only took a few months of dating for Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato to go their own seperate ways. 


A source says that Jonas finally had the guts to do it in person, since his previous flame Taylor Swift, ended in a 27-second phone call in November, 2008 (Smart thinking, sonny. The best way to avoid physical injuries).

Jonas, 20, who's 3 years older than Lovato, met in 2007 during the filming of the series Camp Rock Disney Channel. The couple eventually confessed their sugary sweet romance during a radio interview with Billy Bush in March. (A kid version of Jesse James? How cute.)

Recently last week, Lovato revealed to the press, saying "This is my first serious relationship. He knows me better than I know myself, and I know better than myself," sniff.

A source close to the young pair discloses that the middle sibling of the band Jonas Brothers felt that it wasn't a good idea that the couple were dating and working together at the same time. He was afraid that it was "ruining the friendship."

The source continues, "She's a strong girl. They are so young.. I would give anything not counted yet," somewhat signalling that the split is somewhat temporary.

Update: Hey, Joe Jonas clarified that the breakup didn't happen on phone. Demi says, "Joe and I did split, but it wasn't over the phone. Things didn't work out but we'll remain friends."


Friends? OMG, I think Demi Lovato's statements are not complimenting each other. Last week, she told the world that her first serious relationship is with Mr. Jonas, now she's saying that they'll remain friends?
