Total gross of Star Cinema's entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival's Ang Tanging Ina niyong lahat is now 170 million pesos. That's why the pressure is on with the movie tandem of Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual. Piolo told press that he's indeed pressured on how the audience will respond to their movie. But Piolo added, even in every movie that he make, there is always pressure.

“Syempre, bawat pelikula namang gawin natin, may pressure, eh! So, nakakatakot. Dasal na lang po siguro ang katapat nito.
“We’re happy of course with the success of Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat. And sa amin po, with the kind of importance that Star Cinema is giving Angel and I dito sa pelikula, plus this is Direk Rory’s comeback movie after three years, I think that’s enough para ma-excite ang mga tao.
“At saka proud naman tayo sa Star Cinema na inaalagaan nila ang bawat pelikulang ginagawa natin. Which is great. Sana, tangkilikin po talaga!” ani Piolo.
Ano’ng reaksyon niya sa sinasabi ng iba na hindi raw niya kayang magdala ng kanyang leading lady?
“Sa sampung taon ko naman po sa business, hindi ko iniisip kung ano ‘yung mga negative.
“Mas nagpo-focus ako sa kung ano pa ang pwede kong pagandahin and what I can offer my audience. So, ‘yun na lang ang mga bagay na mas pinagtutuunan ko ng pansin.
“With Angel, I’m happy, I’m blessed to be working with her. And to all the leading ladies that I got to work with, I’m grateful of course sa Star Cinema sa opportunity na binibigay nila sa akin. Ako po, trabaho lang po sa akin,” says Piolo.

Tonight, January 14, 2009, will be the premiere night of their movie.
