Totoy Bato is a comic adaptation written by Carlo J. Caparas and was adapted in movie screens. Topbilling the movie was the late King of Action Fernando Poe Jr. Pressured by the success of the original movie, Action Star Robin Padilla told 24 Oras' Chika Minute that he will do his best, together with Regine Velasquez, to revive the movie and to meet the standard expectations of the fans.
Will air as a series, The original story is expected to be inserted with twists, and drama that will make the original story more interesting. The best part with this series is the reunion team up of Robin-Regine loveteam that is last seen on the movie Till I Met You by GMA Films.
Additional casts will include Eddie Garcia, Ehra Madrigal, Ian Veneracion, Tuesday Vargas, Jolo Revilla, Queenie Padilla,daughter of Robin, and our Pambansang Kamao, Manny Pacquiao.
Totoy Bato also marks the first time it's creator, Carlo J. Caparas will appear as an actor in any of his Komiks creation. Totoy Bato is expected to air this January 2009, replacing Gagambino.
