Geneva Cruz clarifies that there are no truth to the reports saying that she attempted suicide because of personal issues regarding her relationship with husband KC Montero.

"That's not true. Nagtawagan ang mga kamag anak ko sa akin, nasa New York ako noon. Hindi ako magsu suicide dahil lang sa problema ko sa pamilya."[1] she said. The speculations started as a blind item. After two weeks, one writer named Geneva as the topic of the blind items.

"Ten years na kami ni KC (Montero) and so far, we're still together. Nami miss ko lang ang showbiz kaya ako nagpupunta dito sa Pilipinas. Si KC at ang anak kong si Heaven, susunod din oras na binyagan na yung anak ng kapatid niyang si Troy Montero."[1] she also added. According to Geneva, she accepted some shows and a recording project while she is here in the Philippines for the mean time.

Well, Geneva might leave showbiz for good. Why not? USA is a greener pasture compared to Philippines and besides, she is not as in demand as she was years ago. But a talented actress like her, is a big loss to the industry if her plans will happen.
