JC is now the newest endorser of Penshoppe, the clothing apparel. He is now marked as the first ever Kapuso Guy to be a Penshoppe endorser. During the launch of his product endorsement, Vinia Vivar got the chance to interview the first Pinoy Sole Survivor. JC admits that Survivor Philippines is a big blessing for him. It opened a lot of opportunities for him, most especially for his showbiz career.

'After Survivor, andaming opportunities na nagbukas. Siguro, nasa akin na rin yung.... kailangan ko talagang mag workshop or magtiyaga, magsipag, kasi yung mga dumarating sa akin ngayon, hindi naman laging nandiyan yan eh,' he said.
