After finishing his movie with Sarah Geronimo, John Lloyd Cruz will fly to New York City, USA to join Governor Vilma Santos and Luis Manzano for the shoot of their first movie together in Star Cinema. John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano will play as "lovers" in the said movie. Lloydie admits that he is so much excited in the movie because it's his first time to play a certain character.
"At gusto ko na magawa ito sa kung paano siya bini - visualize. We're gonna work together in this one kasi ngayon ka lang gagawa ng ganito, so, gusto mong itodo na hindi naman to the highest level dahil baka hindi ko kayanin." he said.

It's like Brokeback Mountains when two of the hottest male stars did a love scene. BM was top billed by Jake Gyllenhaal and the late Heath Ledger. Anyway, John Lloyd was asked if he's now ready to do a kissing scene with a man.

"Alam mo, it's something na para bang you can never be prepared for. Kasi, kahit sabihin mong you're there for a moment para sa co-actor mo, parang siyempre, lalaki sa lalaki pa rin yan. Wala naman akong problema with the gay community, wala akong problema riyan. Mahal ko yang mga yan at ang dami kong friends na ganyan. I just have to be reminded na I'm only portraying the role.It's not gonna be easy pero sobra akong excited since first time kong gagawa ng ganitong tema" he answered.
