Karylle was interviewed by Mario Dumaual last February 13, 2009 episode of Star Patrol of TV Patrol during her participation in Maria Makiling modeling conducted by UP Los Banos and Department of Tourism. She posed and portrayed as Maria Makiling to give way for the painters in showing their artistic interpretation of the Pinoy Folk character.
Karylle also shared her experience and what she expects now for the Valentines Season being single after her breakup with Dingdong Dantes.
"Meron namang love for friends, family and nature.. hehe." she said.
She also expressed her hapiness with the participation as Maria Makiling for the painters. "It's so nice kasi to see art talaga eh, on it's purest form in a place like this for me to really be here. It's such a big honor for me. Kasi I get to pick one painting. Tapos may isa na nag ano, nag alok ng isa pa."
So nice to hear that she participated in a good activity like this one. After all, life must go on right?
