After the intriguing elimination which lead to the reset of votes on the semifinals and changing of voting platform, Laarni Lozada was hailed as the overall winner for the Most Beautiful Eyes in Philippine Showbiz World for 2009.
During the elimination which started last January 1, 2009, Laarni lozada was only in the third place. On the first week of the poll, Sarah Geronimo was the consistent first placer with a 30% wide margin against Marian Rivera. Laarni Lozada's vote was behind of about 20% against Marian leaving her to third place.
After the decision was made on semifinals to reset the total votes, the number of contenders were trimmed down into ten. After the trim, Marian Rivera was leading for a margin of 60 votes against Laarni Lozada placing second, and Sarah behind for about two hundred landing her to the third spot.
During the first week of February, Laarni Lozada managed to get the total 60% of overall votes casted on the month of February which made her lead the competition until the poll ended last February 12, 2009.
