Comedy concert queen Ai Ai Delas Alas was rushed to the hospital March 9, 2009 after doing the live telecast of Ruffa and Ai!
Initial reports say that Ai Ai suffered from Appendicitis, but according to Dr. Lirio V. Cham, internist and Gastro Entrologist of FEU Hospital, the comedy queen is suffering from Acute Pyelonephritis and Acute Gastritis. Acute Pyelonephritis is a potentially organ- and/or life-threatening infection that characteristically causes some scarring of the kidney with each infection and may lead to significant damage to the kidney. While Acute Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach.
Before she was rushed to the hospital, Ai Ai Delas Alas was reported feeling dizziness, Nausea and vomiting. She will stay in the hospital for two days until she is fully recovered. Temporarily replacing her in the hit morning show Ruffa and Ai is Charlene Gonzales. Charlene expressed her support on the full recovery of the comedy concert queen during her exclusive interview in Showbiz News Ngayon,
