Los Angeles, California - Reviving a two-year-old case, Whittier, California police arrested Anna Nicole Smith’s former attorney and boyfriend Howard K Stern yesterday (March 12) for conspiring to furnish drugs to the late actress/model.
According to a report, Stern has been formally charged, arrested, and booked, with bail set at $20,000. Police believe that he was one of the main proponents behind Smith acquiring the prescription drugs that eventually killed her.
In addition to Stern’s arrest, formal felony charges were also filed against Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, both doctors who provided Smith with drugs. Kapoor is currently in police custody, while authorities have issued a warrant for Eroshevich.
The charges claim that all three defendants “conspired to provide controlled substances” to Anna Nicole between June 2004 and January 2007, as well as “prescribing, administering, or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.” - Celebrity Gossips
