Len Llanes wrote a very intriguing story on her article today in Bulgar, giving her own verdict for the second movie team up of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz under Star Cinema and Viva. You Changed My Life is making an impressive performance in ticket sales if you are going to ask us, but the veteran columnist sighted a lot some 'unimpressive' notes for the movie.
The title of the article, and we quote "Bukod sa simple lang ang istorya, Movie ni Sarah at John Lloyd, Corny!" she highlighted. She also narrated on how she ended watching the movie. Her daughter was the 'culprit', asking her to watch the movie. "May chemistry talaga sina John Lloyd at Sarah. May mga eksena na maituturing mong corny, pero ang nangyayari ay may dating at kilig sa manonood. Narinig namin ang reaction from the people around us." she explained.
"Wala pa ring kissing scene sina Lloydie at Sarah. Kelan kaya bibigyan ng permission ni Mommy Divine [Mother of Sarah] na makipag kissing scene ang kanyang dalaga?" she added.
We are all free and entitled to our own opinions. And besides, the columist even sighted a good phrase for the movie that even some of it's scenes are a bit corny for her, the masses are still enjoying it. Does it mean that Filipinos love corny movies? Anyway, Congratulations to Sarah and John Lloyd for the success of You Changed my Life.
