The dancer-judge Paula Abdul thought Danny Gokey's performance was very brilliant. She even commented and sighted that Carrie Underwood would buy his version of it if it was on his album. Nothing personal with Danny, but I think he's just a big hype. But to tell you honestly, he is indeed one of the top contenders for this season's Idol.
Anyway, the drama continues for Adam Lambert. An 'Egyptian and Cleopatra like' performance was seen by millions as Adam sang Ring of Fire. It's really his rendition that captivated the live audiences, with a burning effect at his back, and the eerie sound coming from musical instruments. His rendition of Johnny Cash original gathered mixed reactions from the judges.
The breath-taking eliminations will happen later. Who will be the luckless last this time? Carrie Underwood will grace the said event to contribute some ratings.
