Quezon City, Philippines - The much anticipated Taiwanese series will soon conquer the Kapamilya tubes! Show Lo, Wu Chun and Jerry Yan will hoop and loop the ABS-CBN waves this summer season.

I'm not sure if my next phrase will disappoint some folks out there but this series is top billed by Show Lo, really! Show Lo is a Taiwanese singer-actor, who also top bills the series in GMA entitled Love at the Corner with Barbie Xu. He is also known as Allan Luo. I wonder if why Taiwanese actors/actresses has a lot of aliases, even their series too. Hot Shot is also called Basketball Fire and Basketball Fire Ball. Confusing right?

Anyway, the story of Hot Shot will run for 16 episodes, but for series run here in the Philippines, they will cut and cut it as long as they want to cut it that really annoys me. For the official soundtrack, Show Lo sang the opening theme, while Jerry Yan graces the ending song. For the Taiwanese ratings game, Hot Shot failed to perform that good. Can this series run differently in the Philippine ratings game? We'll see...
