The whole cast and crew of You Changed My Life recently held a Thanksgiving party for the success of the the second installment of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro love story. Present at the event are the Box office king and queen, John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, other cast members, Director Cathy Garcia-Molina, heads of ABS-CBN, Viva and Star Cinema.
Star Cinema head Malou Santos announced that You Changed My Life already reached the 170 million Pesos gross as of Sunday, March 8, 2009. Due to the overwhelming success, the big boss of Star Cinema also added that there is a big possibility of a PART 3 for Laida-Miggy love story. But, it will not happen this year. The hit movie love team also shared their thoughts on the success of the movie,
"Kung puwede ko lang kayong i POWER HUG [Shout] lahat, naku! At i POWER KISS, naku! As in alam niyo po, ginulat niyo kami ng husto sa suportang ibinibigay ninyo sa You Changed my Life at dito po sa tandem namin ni John Lloyd. At if ever na magkaroon pa nga po ng part 3, or part 4, sana ho nandiyan pa rin kayo." Sarah Geronimo said. "Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakapanood na. Sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood, sana wag po ninyong palampasin." John Lloyd says.
The two also shared their sentiments on the surprise announcement of a "trequel" of their movie. John Lloyd said, "Medyo nalulungkot ako kasi manggagaling pa ako sa, i think dalawang pelikula. Matagal ko pa sila makakasama eh [AVSL & YCML cast]. Mangyayari nga pero matagal pa."
"Sinasabi ko to na, risky yung gumawa ng part 3. Pero happy and excited." Sarah added. You Changed My Life Director Cathy Garcia Molina also expressed her feelings after hearing the surprising announcement of a possible part 3. "It will be a very tall order for the whole team. But it's a challenge. We like to accept if really there is a clamor for a part 3."
