California - Former Beatles band member George Harrison has been finally honoured with a posthumous star [blinking] on the Hollywood walk of fame in Los Angeles, California in United States. According to BBC, fellow Beatles member Paul McCartney attended the prestigious event of unveiling Harrison's Walk of Fame star outside the Capitol Records building. McCartney has been approved for his own star, but no date yet for the ceremony. Also present at the event was Harrison's widow Olivia and son Dhani.
Other stars sighted at the event are actor Eric Idle, Tom Hanks, Musician Tom Petty and Monty Phyton.
