Hollywood - American Idol Extra talks to Matt Giraud after the newest history in the making "twist" of the popular American Idol franchise of Fox. Sitting with the 'Extra' host Jillian Reynolds and Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, Matt expressed his sentiments.
"I feel amazing, I feel lucky, and blessed. Watching the crowd out there screaming 'save! save!'" says Matt. Reynolds asked Matt after millions of viewers experienced his emotional side. "Yeah, you know what Simon was saying, 'I don't think you can win this competition.' I was like 'Oh no, this is it', you know." says Matt.
Kara DioGuardi showed off her support to Matt after his "idol at the movies" week performance with Matt's rendition of the song "Have you ever really loved a woman?" by Bryan Adams. "You know, I gotta be honest with you [Reynolds], when he was singing, I was just like 'Go Matt, Go Matt', I knew I was gonna save him. I would have said, I'll save you without singing." says Kara. "Coz that's how much faith I have on him." Kara added [crowd applauded].
