In related news, Adam Lambert reportedly congratulated his friend, American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen on VH1 honor for his song 'Live Like We're Dying'. According to Examiner's Matt Carter, Allen's debut single recently reached the #1 spot for the first time on VH1's countdown - and Allen tweeted: "Thanks for making LLWD #1 on VH1!" The report adds that the American Idol Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert was quick to reply to him with his own message of support: "congrats on your #1 spot on video countdown my brutha!" Very sweet.
