George Clooney's Haiti Telethon - broadcast from Los Angeles and New York City in USA and London in United Kingdom - the event saw more than 140 stars come together to perform and raise funds for the victims of the catastrophic earthquake that left millions homeless. Joined by big actors and actresses, George Clooney said that the people of Haiti need help.

He said: "This is a tragedy that reaches across all borders, all boundaries. It demands our attention, our help and our compassion. The Haitian people need help. They need to know that they are not alone. They need to see that we still care." the 2-hour fund raiser is expected to raise over $150 Million. Stars who manned the telephones include director Stephen Spielberg and actors Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson, Reese Witherspoon and Penelope Cruz.
