Roger Ross Williams and Elinor Burkett are the 'biggest' Oscars buzzers for this year. According to reports, Williams, the director/producer who won the Best Documentary Short category of the 82nd Academy Awards was "Kanye'd" (dissed) by producer Elinor Burkett while delivering his acceptance speech. Elinor Burkett wrestled the microphone away from "Music By Prudence" director/producer Roger Ross Williams in a Kanye West-type moment.
The news sources added that the bitter feud between Williams and Burkett is because the direction of "Music By Prudence," which follows a disabled Zimbabwean musician. Even before the Oscars 2010, the battle for the rights of the said docu-film led to lawsuit but was settled out of court. Williams and Burkett were left so angry that they did not discuss who'd go on stage if the film won.
