Christina Aguilera's motherly instincts has made her determined to put food on the table for the starving nations.
The pop diva, as well as an ambassador against hunger by the United Nations World Food Program, has chanelled her efforts in aiding Haiti and other nations as well in the not so distant future.
In a special guest appearance on Oprah Winfrey, Aguilera has shared her sentiments with the reigning queen of talk shows, that 'a child dies every 6 seconds of hunger,' as well as announcing her appointment as UN ambassador on Friday.
"After having my own child, I just had to be part of it and do something about it and change that situation," the singing sensation says.
If you can recall previously, Aguilera wholeheartedly took part in a celebrity telethon for Haiti, called 'Hope for Haiti,' in which the noble cause raised over $60 million for the distressed nation.
The singer also added on Oprah that she's willing to make a difference and offer her assistance to troubled Haiti, checking on the situation and delivering food, as well as visiting orphanages and schools.
