Former 'Idol' judge Paula Idol will resume her post in a new reality TV showdown, among other notable tasks.

Abdul, former 'American Idol' judge and one of the show's pioneers, will take the driver's seat as head judge in the upcoming CBS dance competition 'Got to Dance.'

The dancer and ex popstar, will also be a mentor for the amateur contestants on the new reality show, besides being an executive producer and 'creative partner,' according to the network (Whew, she's a one woman show).

The title, 'Got to Dance,' is subject for a revamp, and will be competing with ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars' as well as Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance.'

A spokesperson for CBS stated that the network has yet to come up with a premiere date for the reality show. According to Abdul, they will be showcasing the challenges and successes of a fanstastic group of dancers as they compete with each other every week.

The 'Got to Dance' series began last year in Britain, where it was formatted.

Welcome back, Paula!
