From modeling, producing, hosting, and now, Tyra Banks is dead set on writing a series of fantasy novels.
According to her publishers, the former supermodel turned host, has signed up a deal for a series of fantasy novels about the modelling world.
Publishers Delacorte Press reveals that Banks, who hosts the reality competition 'America's Top Model,' and whose own talk show will mark its departure this year, will write three books which is due to be released in the summer of 2011.
The first one entitled 'Modelland', which she has already completed, is about a teen girl in a make-believe society at an academy for exceptional models called Intoxibellas.
On her site, Banks, 36, dedicates the book to "all the girls and guys who want a lot more fantasy in their lives - and some fierceness and magic, romance, and mystery, crazy and wild adventures, and yeah, some danger too." Yup, she forgot to mention the wizards, or vampires and the hobbits.
As described by Delacorte Press, 'Modelland' tackles issues such as relationships, body image and empowering women of all ages.
Banks will soon be launching her own production company Bankable studios, after ending her Emmy-award winner 'The Tyra Banks Show.'
Models zapping each other out, cool!
