For a while, I thought things were taking a 360 degree turn for the troubled media queen, but nooo! She does it again with another fast one up her sleeves. This time, she's on the firing end of some accessory store in Los Angeles.
Tough as Nails, the name of the boutique has filed suit against the 'Freaky Friday' star for unpaid bills. According to reports, Lohan has spent around $17,000 worth of goodies since November of last year, and has managed to only settle $180 of the total amount. The boutique had taken her good word when the actress bought a a bunch of items on the store's tab. And that would be the biggest blunder of all, people!
Reps of the said store has disclosed that the representations made by Lohan were in fact false and that they must make necessary measures to recover their losses.
According to Bill Crockett, who tells E News, "Filing suit was the last thing we wanted to do, but after six months of not being paid, my clients were left with no choice. They started this business from scratch and that they have been successful in attracting an elite clientele does not mean they should be abused."
Alright, it's a given. Lilo being bad news is an understatement. The ones who truly deserve that lawsuit are the ones in charge of the boutique. Is there actually a lawsuit for ignorance? I mean, they had to wait all this time before they woke up. Like, were they starstruck?? 'Yes Lilo, you could take anything you want, deary. Just sign your autograph where we want it signed, okay?
