Aljur Abrenica's career for the year 2009 is as blooming as the flowers from the recently concluded Panagbenga Festival of Baguio City! He is now top billing a series with his love team Kris Bernal entitled, Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin shown in the afternoon block of GMA.
Aljur was recently asked by a reporter if he is following the footsteps of some known Kapuso leading man like Richard Gutierrez, Dennis Trillo and Dingdong Dantes,
"Gusto kong gumawa ng sarili ko kasi iba-iba naman ang talent namin. Gusto kong makilala bilang ako." he answered. Just recently when a columnist from a tabloid reported that Aljur Abrenica's real girlfriend is Rich Asuncion or now known as Richelle Angalot. Also a Starstruck product and a candidate of the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2009. But some rumors are spreading that he recently broke up with Angalot to pave his way on pursuing his feelings for his love team, Kris Bernal. Ows?
