Quezon City, Philippines - The rift between former title holders and Binibining Pilipinas management intensifies! Maria Isabel Lopez and Azenith Briones, former Binibining Pilipinas title holders made an appearance in Jobert Sucaldito's afternoon radio show Showbiz Mismo to talk about the "shoo" issue involving them in the recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2009 Coronation night.
In the special report of SNN aired yesterday, Azenith Briones hits on 2005 Binibining Pilipinas World Carlene Aguilar after co-hosting the Binibining Pilipinas 2009 to question the meaning of immorality. "Who is Carlene Aguilar? Hindi naman tayo sa naninira or something, nasaan yung sinasabi nilang good moral values? Di ba? Baka magalit sa akin si Carlene, pero Carlene I'm sorry to say pero totoo lang sasabihin ko. Nagkaanak ka ng walang tatay ang anak mo." says Briones.
SNN spoke with Carlene regarding the issue, and she admits that her family is affected after hearing the statements of Briones. "Narinig nila sa radio sa show ni Jobert Sucaldito, tapos mas affected sila kasi family ko sila." she said. "Parang immoral? To say that a person is immoral, parang sobrang perfect, they don't know me personally so careful lang." she added. Carlene also aired her message to her detractors, "Sana makuha ni Miss Isabel yung gusto niyang makuha na parang apology ata from the Binibining Pilipinas. Dun kay Miss Azenith, hindi pa po tayo nagkakakilala so, I really hope to get to know you, and you should get to know me more." says Carlene with a smile on her face.
