Sassyqarla was surprised after knowing that Miss Claudine Barretto, the certified Teleserye hitmaker and called Optimum Teleserye Queen by some, will play a supporting role in the hit series of ABS-CBN, May Bukas Pa!

Roldan Castro confirmed on his column that Claudine Barretto is set to do a special role for the series. Claudine will play the role of Julia, a woman with so much pain and hatred in her heart until her fate will come across Santino that will change her life forever. Can her character influence the flow of the story? It was also reported last week that Jodi Sta. Maria will join the casts of the series, Tayong Dalawa. Claudine admits that she really love watching May Bukas Pa. "I really watch May Bukas Pa!", she said. "I love the program and I adore Santino. Kaya I'm so excited to be working with Santino (Zaijan Jaranilla) and the whole cast." she added.
