Quezon City, Philippines - I was very disappointed after hearing Bob Arum's announcement that he's eyeing on Julio Cesar 'Cutie' Chavez Jr. as the next opponent of our People's champ Manny Pacquiao after his bout with Ricky Hatton.
The Mexican boy-next door cutie-pie boxer is the Junior Middleweight division fighter recently scored a win over Luciano Cuello [March 28, 2009] after the 10 rounds, Chavez Jr. snatched an unanimous decision. Chavez Jr. is the son of the legendary Chavez Sr. [obviously], he's only 23 years old. Guess what, this hot Mexican boxer is still undefeated!
So the Top Rank Honcho is eyeing Chavez Jr. for the next Pacquiao bout, but a lot of sports analyst are also disappointed in Arum's plan. The analysts insists that Chavez Jr. is not at the same "level" with Pacman and still needs more fight before going for a brawl with PacMan. I'm not that biased but if ever Pacquiao-Chavez Jr. bout will push through, I'm sure Pacquiao will destroy his cute face. Oh darn! Please!
