By: Karen AlbanoQuezon City, Philippines - "Walang Pera?", a GMA Network Documentary aired yesterday on SNBO block of the said television network, was indeed very likable as I expected. Usually, Hollywood movies, or Concerts dominates the block, but a very nice and cute News and Public Affairs graced SNBO last night. The documentary show was hosted by the top caliber News Anchor Mike Enriquez, with the special participation of the network's top paid actress Marian Rivera. Enriquez delivered the issues in connection with the Philippines' situation following the U.S. Global recession, while Rivera portrayed different characters connected with the topic.
After watching it, I can say that its a very informative, and a very interesting show. My favorites are the animation of Winnie Monsod and President Arroyo, that's really hilarious! Most of the time, a documentary with a topic like Finance, Economy, and other Government stuffs really bores me. But hey, "Walang Pera?" successfully glued me in my chair, and I'm very proud to say that I managed to finish a news and public affairs show for the first time!
