California - Entertainment Online reported that the "Step Up" star Channing Tatum is being eyed by a Twilight Screenwriter to join the third installment of the Stephenie Meyer book to flick adaptation -- and she thinks he fits the role of Riley, the bad boy vampire from the third book - 'Eclipse'. "There's a very big battle at the end with Riley, and I think Channing would do that so well," says Melissa Rosenburg, Twilight and New Moon Screenwriter.
The vampiric screenwriter also confirmed some good news for Robert Pattinson fans, and KStew was right -- she promised we’ll be seeing plenty of RPattz in "New Moon", which is currently shooting in Vancouver with director Chris Weitz.
"In the book, he's actually an enormous presence in [Bella's] mind," Rosenberg said. "He's so present in her mind throughout the entire center of the book, so we really played off that, and it kept him alive in a slightly different way, but fans will feel it’s true to the book. You can’t have a Twilight without Rob Pattinson." she added.
So, the "Eclipse" flick will feature a dancing vampire courtesy of Channing Tatum, and a singing vampire courtesy of Robert Pattinson -- not a bad idea!
