Los Angeles, California - For the first time, fans of MTV Movie awards will get a chance to pick the respective nominees for the categories of the popular Music television awards.
Fans can either cast their nominations in MTV's website, or through mobile phones by submitting codes. Some of the popular categories of MTV Movie awards are "Best Kiss", "Best Fight" and "Best Movie". The nomination will start April 14 [US Time].
The MTV site will announce the official list of nominees on May 4, and will also start the voting process. The online and mobile phone voting will close on May 18. Most number of votes will get the "prestigious" Golden popcorn award. Funny man Andy Samberg will host the awards night.
