Kenneth Turan slams the film adaptation, with a review title -- "The adaptation of Times columnist Steve Lopez's book hits all the wrong notes", Turan sighted some no-no's of the film adaptation. "This is a very problematic film. They've really taken an individual sensitive story, they've taken the rough edges out of it, they've Hollywoodize the film.." says Turan.
