California - Fans were "shocked" 'coz of the report that Gossip Girl spinoff has been canceled. So it turns out than Britanny Snow's promo poster was a big joke -- hmm, not quite 'coz next Monday, GG will give us a limited taste of Lily Van Der Woodsten's life during the 80's (flashback thingy), but Lily's past will now remain a secret, coz the show is now kaput!
According to Nikki Finkle, the plans of the 80's theme spinoff "went from hot, to lukewarm, to 'fading but wouldn't count out', to now dead.", and that's according to her insiders. Funny descrpition, but what could have caused the cancelation? I'm sure its not the budget... haha!
I love Britanny Snow! Actually, I love her seeing in a teeny bop film but giving her a piece of the pie in the television airtime is a masterpiece - 'coz she's a great actress! Maybe, the scriptwriters "plot" for the GG spinoff is not that "convincing", so the honchos crumpled it out, and trashed it.
