California - "17 Again" star and HSM alum Zac Efron made it to the prestigious list of Time - "100 Most Influential" people in the world for 2009 - and that's very convincing. In fact, a lot of fans are very happy to see Mr. Efron in the list, 'coz he's freakin hot!
Time's movie critic Richard Corliss explained why Zac was included in the list. "We all know he's a movie star. He's the headliner of High School Musical 3 and the body switch comedy 17 Again." says Corliss who also mentioned Zac's appeal to girls -- and their moms.
"This one man boyband has the ambition and the skills to be a great movie actor." Corliss said. "Zac Efron, you may look like the perfect perpetual adolescent, but by joining the Time 100 -- today, you are a man." he added.
Aside from the positive comments of Time, Zac was also praised by his co-star Claire Danes in the movie "Me And Orson Welles". "(Working with Zac) I couldn't help being reminded of the time I had spent with another gifted idol, Leonardo DiCaprio, about a decade before," says Danes in her Contactmusic interview.
