California - Even if he's not the American Idol of Season 8, Adam Lambert had already proven that he's hotter and indeed far "more popular" globally, than any other Idol contestant of the recently concluded season.

And while he's busy preparing for his upcoming debut album set to hit the record bars this fall, Adam revealed that he's happy after meeting his "idols", and "rubbed elbows" with them. "I've met a lot of people that I look up to, artists that I respect. That's been crazy. Just last night I met Usher, Enrique Iglesias and My Chemical Romance at the studio. I've just been meeting these artists and they know who I am now because of the show and Rolling Stone. It's just weird to be on the same page as them, so to speak." he told Parade.

And the most special and unforgettable "Idol" encounter for Adam is when he met the "Material Girl" star, Madonna. He told Parade, "I met Madonna and that was pretty wild. Most everybody I've met is pretty cool and on the level, but Madonna is just legendary. I was definitely the most starstruck with her. I've been a fan of hers since I was a kid. So that's definitely part of the intimidation factor."
