California - Ashlee Simpson appeared to be in quite a sour mood as she drove through a Los Angeles, CA McDonald's drive-thru on June 21, 2009. Amidst rumors of marriage woes and cattiness it would come as no surprise if the starlet found solace in some comfort food, and judging by the size of the bag she drove away with that certainly seems to be the case!

Simpson-Wentz spoke to MTV about her new role as Violet Foster: "I play the girl that's straight-off-the-bus. It's fun," she said. Simpson-Wentz is best known for her music and small role on "7th Heaven" but "This is what I wanted to do and this is such a great show. I'm so excited about the show," she told MTV.
