The son of Ryan O'Neal and his family were turned away from the funeral that day held for his father’s long time lover and friend the iconic beauty Farrah Fawcett by Ryan's request.
Griffin reportedly drove 300 miles to pay his respects; Ryan O'Neal specifically requested his son be banned from the funeral. Griffin believes that Farrah would be upset to know he wasn't allowed to attend her funeral, "She’s mad right now that I’m not in there," he said. "I just wanted to say goodbye to someone that I knew and loved for 33 years."
