California - Millions of Michael Jackson fans will be disappointed after the reports that the King of Pop's public memorial on July 7, 2009 will only be accessible to 17,000 fans chosen through a free, online lottery system at StaplesCenter.com.
According to EW, online registrations for the available seats will conclude on Saturday, 6PM. 11,000 fans will be chosen to receive tickets applicable for Staples Center while the remaining 6,000 will be for the Nokia Theater across the street where fans can watch a live feed, which will also be open to all broadcast and cable networks and the lucky Jacko fans will be notified through electronic mail.
Registrations for the once in a lifetime seats will conclude on Saturday, 6PM (PT) and the e-mail notifications are between 11 AM to 8 PM (PT) on Sunday.
