California - While Robert Pattinson is busy enjoying his pink sleeping bag, and Kristen Stewart is busy displaying her leather pants, 'New Moon' prod team is now on it's "pick stage" for the bands who will appear in on the soundtrack for the upcoming Twilight sequel.
Of course fans have their own set of picks, but for the sequel's director Chris Weitz, the final list is still on it's judgment stage. Weitz recently told Rotten Tomatoes his first choices. "Alexandre Desplat has just started working on his music for the film, and we are just starting to put together what bands are on the soundtrack, so it's kind of like keeping ten plates spinning at once," Weitz said. "The criterion will still always be what's right for the movie at that given moment, but Thom Yorke is interested; we might, if we're very lucky, get Kings of Leon to do something... it's exciting to be able to have access to this kind of talent."
The soundtrack is as important as the promotion of the film, so the soundtrack should add some love boo boos to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner's hearty love triangle scenes.
