Beyonce is the center of attention after the MTV Video Music Awards 2009 incident involving Kanye West and country singer Taylor Swift. For the past days after the Kanye versus Taylor incident, the former member of Destiny's Child finally breaks her silence.
In Beyonce's interview during the Billboard's Annual Women in Music Event, Beyonce revealed that she understands Kanye's surprise actions. "Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award',"
"And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'," Beyonce added. After the surprise incident, Kanye apologized to Taylor and to her fans (I think, three times).
