Multiple news sources speculated that Adam Lambert lost his Good Morning America guesting because of his 'racy' American Music Awards performance. The San Diego native, and first runner-up of American Idol's Season 8 got mixed reviews and reaction from fans and critics after performing the carrier single of his new album 'For Your Entertainment'.
Guardian's Music blog posted: "The American Idol singer's (Adam Lambert) staged gay kiss should not have been cause for complaint – it was his sexually aggressive performance that was objectionable." The blog also cited Adam Lambert's kiss with his keyboardist as the reason of complaints.
Meanwhile, Freep.com is reporting: "Good Morning America shied away from controversy this week by canceling Adam Lambert's appearance on the show after his American Music Awards performance resulted in viewer complaints. But now the Web is abuzz with news that the show has booked Chris Brown for an interview and performance." Brown, Rihanna's former boyfriend also has his own new album. Photo: RAM/Fame Pictures
