Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack has considered suicide after his wife's death, according to Monjack's mother. Bang Showbiz is reporting that Simon Monjack, a British screenwriter who married the late Brittany Murphy in 2007 - is so "distraught" over Brittany Murphy's passing on December 20, 2009, he has contemplated taking his own life.
Simon Monjack's mother spoke with People Magazine, and revealed: "Simon is exactly as you would expect someone to be who has just lost the woman he loved. Some days he wants to kill himself, and other days he seems to be coping better. He is distraught. I speak to him everyday, and he is often in tears."
Meanwhile, Filipino Doctor and blogger Zoe Arugay posted a very interesting speculation if 'What could have caused Brittany Murphy's death'. The doctor slash blogger posted: "Assuming it was not the overdose of medications that caused her death, then my guess is: Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). The lack of anti-diabetic meds can mean she isn’t diabetic; or can mean that she is a diabetic with poor compliance to medications.
Doctor Arugay adds: "Add this – if it’s true that she still has an eating disorder, then that raises my suspicion even more. The shortness of breath and abdominal pain may already be manifestations of DKA. The fever (or flu-like illness) may be a clue as to a possible infection which may have complicated her DKA even more ultimately resulting to her death." Check out Doc Zoe's complete post HERE.
