Rumor has it that top pick Bill Condon will be directing the final installment of the popular Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn. BTW, there is also a possibility that the final book will have two movies.

Anyway, it was only last month when the three Oscar nominated directors, Gus Van Sant ('Milk'), Sofia Coppola ('Lost in translation') and Bill Condon ('Dreamgirls') were being shortlisted on Summit Entertainment to take charge of the movie project.

Deadline.com reports that negotiations are still in the works for both director Condon and the studio and a deal is yet to be finalized. There has also been constant hype that the movie will be split into two films where shooting will commence this fall.

The lead stars and rumored sweethearts Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, however, has showed favor towards Gus Van Sant instead. Pattinson believes that Van Sant is equipped to bring this movie to life, giving emphasis to the theme which revolves around teenage love and obsessions.
