Michael C. Hall, 39, has fully recovered from cancer and has resumed work, according to wife Jennifer Carpenter.

Hall, popularly known as the vigilante murder scene analyst in the TV show 'Dexter', had announced early this January that he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, a sort of cancer that attacks the lymph nodes. His wife Carpenter, cited his bravery for publicly revealing his condition.

The 39-year old actor has subjected himself to continuous treatment at a health centre near Los Angeles after being cured of the disease.

Meanwhile, Hall has earned huge respect and praise for his performance as Dexter Morgan, a serial killer who preys on other murderers, and has been a big hit with viewers across the Atlantic.

The actor even won himself a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award.

And won over probably the biggest battle of his life.
