Kate Gosselin, undeniably one of the hottest items today (especially on tabloids), isn't good in selling books.
According to reports, Kate's book "I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family" has sold just 10,000 plus copies, what? Ten thousand, whole US? I mean, knowing the fact that Kate is a national celebrity - it's very surprising to see a five digit book sales.
Jim Milliot, business and news director of book-industry magazine Publishers Weekly, tells UsMagazine.com that the numbers "nowhere near a blockbuster" and "not that impressive." I'll give you a scenario to fully understand this, a book is like a movie, the sales will depend on promotion and of course, the star. In her case, Kate is like the star of the movie, and the ticket sales of her movie is surprisingly low, and unimpressive.
Looking at the figures, looks like Kate Gosselin's book FLOPPED. I'm hoping to see a six or seven digits copies sold before this year ends. Let's give her a chance.
