Logan Lerman might be climbing those scyscrapers and spinning web sooner than you think.

The star of the 'Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief' is a strong bet as a possible Peter Parker replacement in Marc Webb's planned 'Spider-Man' reboot,according to unknown sources at HitFix.

While nothing is really final at this stage, Lerman is already enthusiastic over the superhero role and hopes negotiations will be finalized.

'I'm just a huge fan,' he says. That's all i can say. 'Spider-Man' is just an awesome comic book series. There are millions of actors out there who want to play the role and i'm just one of them.'

Well according to HitFix, Lerman had triumphed over alleged contenders such as Anon Yelchin ('Star Trek'), Patrick Fugit ('Almost Famous'), Jesse Eisenberg, ('Zombie Land') and Johnny Simmons ('Scot Pilgrin vs The World.')

Early this January, Tobey Macguire who jumpstarted the whole franchise along with Director Sam Raimi, had made their exit from the project after plans of a fourth installment failed to materialize due to creative differences, reports say.
