Bret Michaels After Celebrity Apprentice Finale! |
Bret Rocker Bret Michaels was all pumped up in his stage comeback, as he wowed a wild, sold-out audience.
With the signature red bandana, cowboy hat, plus the chest-pump move, the Poison frontman gave 1,400 ecstatic fans at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi, Mississipi, a mind blowing performance that was worth the long wait.
Even with the slight limp in his step that Friday night, it was unlike just any Bret Michaels show. The musician's super charged adrenalin eliminated any signs of a recovering performer from what seemed like a life threatening condition.
"I've got a little bitty hitch in my left giddy up, but i think we'll be alright," the 47-year-old rocker told the screaming fans. "It's an awesome feeling, I'm glad to be here."
The huge crowd responded with joyful cheers, as Michaels sang his '80's Poison hits which included 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn,' 'Unskinny Bop' and 'Talk Dirty To Me.'
Donna Galloway, a big fan since the very beginning, was the first in line for the concert at 8 a.m., her third time in watching the rockstar perform live at the Hard Rock Cafe.
"I just want to see how Bret's doing," Galloway says. "I'm worried about his health more than the concert, but I've always loved him."
Michaels, who's in his recovery stage, showed no serious effects of his health woes or even his hectic schedule which included bagging the title in 'Celebrity Apprentice,' as well as his recent performance on the finale of 'American Idol.' Instead, it was his drummer Chuck Fanslau who struggled to keep up with the rocker's intensity.
"We had a month and a half off of work so it wears out, but it's exhilarating at the same time," he says.
Keep living it up, Bret.
