Chely Wright's all set to announce her true sexuality. But not until People's next issue.

Wright, 39, country's singing sensation, is reportedly announcing that she is a lesbian in People Magazine's upcoming issue next week, according to TMZ.

The musician will be the first major country artist to come out of the closet. In 1999, Wright was named as Country music's top new female vocalist. In the same year, she also scored a number one hit with 'Single White Female.'

Wright also boasts of seven albums to her name, besides haven written songs for Brad Paisley with whom she has been romantically linked - Richard Marx and Mindy Smith.

Her new album, entitled 'Lifted off the Ground,' as well as her memoir 'Like me' is set to be released on May 4.

Better late than never to show your true colors.
