Katherine Heigl's adopted Korean daughter undergoes heart surgery.

Heigl, who stars opposite Ashton Kutcher in 'Killers,' has had her adopted daughter, Naleigh, undergo an open heart surgery due to a congenital heart defect, before leaving Korea, according to People.

Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley had adopted Naleigh in September of last year. Due to the child's special needs, she was able to find a home faster.

The actress has revealed to Harper's Bazaar magazine, a bit about life spent with her daughter. She explains that Naleigh sports a scar from the surgery, which will prevent her from wearing any bikinis.

Heigl also describes how intimidating a task it is in dressing up her daughter. She even buys Gap and juicy clothes for Naleigh, but stresses because she's not keeping up with the latest baby fashion trends of the times, like not being able to wear Prada flats.

Heigl, one of the popular casts of 'Greys Anatomy' has departed from the medical drama sitcom to devote her time to her family, where she finds enjoyment as a mother.
