A man who has reportedly stalked 'American Idol Host' Ryan Seacrest, has been handed down his sentence equivalent to two years in the slammer, with strict orders to keep his distance from the star. Like around 500 yards, for as long as 10 years. Pre-tty long!
The culprit, 26-year-old Chidi Uzomah, had previously pleaded no contest and was speechless during the hearing.
Uzomah has since been behind bars as far back as June of last year, when he was cuffed by officials at cable network E! in LA, in which the 'Idol' host was in the midst of recording a show.
The alleged stalker, who was carrying a knife following an incident wherein he attacked one of Secrest's bodyguards at last year's charity event in Orange County, pleaded guilty to assault. He was already in probation as a result.
The 35-year-old host had filed a restraining order last year, with claims that Uzomah was in possession of a knife.
The stalker was probably a Simon Cowell fan!
A Celtics Finish In Game 6, Or A Game 7?
A seesaw game. Nope, not exactly! So, could it be anybody's ballgame in a legendary NBA Finals rematch between the Lakers and the Celtics?
Game 6 takes us back to the Staples Center for Phil Jackson and his boys, giving them a breather after two consecutive losses to Doc Rivers' Celtics in their arena. So with the Lakers trailing at 3-2, can they avenge themselves and muscle their way to a 7th game victory?
Not if Kevin Garnett and his teammates can help it. With the Boston crowd chanting their age old "Beat L-A" chant in game 5's triumph, ain't it sweet returning the favor and wrapping it up in game 6?
Yet besides the Celtics having to play out of their nest, Lakers tandem Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson seem unfazed by their current standing.
Says Kobe, "Just man up and play. What the hell's the big deal? If I have to say something to them, then we don't deserve to be champions. We're down 3-2, go home, win one game, go on to the next one. Simple as that."
Yup, the guy who could withstand even Cris Rock's freakshow is dead serious. It's showtime!
