Miley Talks About The Connection Of Empowerment And Skins!

Miley Cyrus, the ever controversial Disney teeny bop turned controversial because of her recent sexy outfits, tells a mom in an MTV News interview that her new image is all about "empowerment", and "decisions for yourself," without "mom and dad" interfering. 

According to PopEater, a mom tells Miley that she loves the songstress' new image, and what she liked about it is the "empowerment theme."

Here's Miley's reply: "It's just about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back. And I think that's really important, especially for girls, because so many people are told, 'No, you can't do something,' or, 'You need to be this because mom and dad say that, teachers say this.'"
